Ukranian born soprano Yekaterina Gruzglina is a recent graduate of Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. While there, she was seen as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro as well as Tatiana in Eugene Onegin and Marcellina in Fidelio in the Shepherd School's scenes program. Yekaterina spent the last two seasons with the Aspen Music Festival, where she performed Papagena in Die Zauberflöte and Nanetta in Falstaff in the orchestrated opera scenes program. Recent roles include Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Banff Opera Theatre Centre and Serpetta in La Finta Giardiniera with the Juilliard Opera Workshop. Upcoming engagements include the cover of Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte with Opera Cooperative.
